THE JRNY APP
Situation: In 2017, our leadership team recognized the shift of the fitness industry towards digital platforms. We knew that we needed something unique and innovative for our customers. What initially began as an app for a single product line evolved into the cornerstone of our entire product suite going forward.
Action: I played a pivotal role in the app development process from the very beginning. This involved spearheading early wireframe ideation, conducting thorough consumer research, personally filming workout videos, and developing robust marketing strategies, positioning, and messaging. The culmination of my efforts is evident throughout this entire website, showcasing JRNY's prominent presence in our marketing endeavors from 2018 to the present. Our unwavering focus was to deliver a groundbreaking app experience, setting a new standard and captivating our audience in the fiercely competitive fitness app market.
Results: The app membership surged to over 650K, marking a remarkable 50% year-over-year growth from 2018-2024.
